Product Description
Automatic Aluminum Billet Cutting Machine for Long Bar Processing
The production line is designed for aluminum alloy bar sawing and cut-to-length processing. It can handle aluminum alloy bars with diameters from Ø 80 to Ø254 mm, while the maximum incoming bar length is 13,000 mm. The material is first placed on the buffering and alignment platform, then transferred to the feeding conveyor by the loading mechanism.
Integrated Feeding and Conveying System
For long aluminum bars, stable material transfer is an important part of the cutting process. The line uses a multi-bar loading mechanism and roller conveyor to move aluminum bars toward the sawing unit.
Conveyor speed: 25 m/min and adjustable
The loading section includes a bar alignment platform and lifting/transfer mechanism. According to the equipment document, the loading mechanism transfers multiple long aluminum bars onto the sawing roller track before cutting.
Multi-Bar Sawing and Cut-to-Length Control
The main sawing unit uses a horizontal circular saw with a Ø 900 mm alloy saw blade.

Cutting capacity: 5 bars within 60 seconds (under Ø 120 × 6000 mm condition)
After the initial head cut, the aluminum bars are transferred to the sizing section.

PLC-Controlled Processing Line
The complete production process is controlled by a PLC and HMI digital input system. The equipment supports both automatic and manual control, with fault alarms and automatic interlock protection.
After sizing and tail cutting, the finished long bars are transferred to the discharge storage rack, while cut heads and tails are collected separately. Aluminum chips are collected through a fan-based collection system.
For aluminum extrusion plants and long-bar processing applications, this configuration focuses on connecting feeding, sawing, sizing and discharge into one continuous workflow, with measurable specifications for bar diameter, processing length, cutting capacity and length control.
