Baking scheme of aluminum melting furnace.

The aluminum melting furnace shall be dried after construction. It can only be put into use after drying to avoid explosion and cracking caused by sharply rising temperature of internal moisture. How to dry the aluminum melting furnace and what kind of drying curve shall be used for drying the furnace?


1. Oven drying cycle: the whole drying cycle is about 30 days, with each temperature rise of 50 ℃. Natural gas or coal gas is used as the heating source, and charcoal is strictly prohibited;


2. Curing: After 24 hours of curing, the castables can be removed from the formwork for natural curing. It is strictly prohibited to water the castables during the curing process. The castables shall not be vibrated or impacted. The curing temperature should be 15-30 ° C. If the temperature is lower than 15 ° C, heating measures shall be taken. The total curing time shall not be less than 3 days.


3. Baking: 2. Baking is the key link to improve the service life of the furnace. It is mainly used to remove free water, chemically bound water and obtain high temperature performance. Improper baking and poor water removal will cause cracks on the furnace body and reduce the strength. In serious cases, it may even cause large scale peeling or explosion of the furnace body. 4. Pay attention to the temperature change at all times when drying the furnace, and adjust the gas volume at any time to control the temperature rise speed and holding time of the furnace.


Furnace drying precautions:
1. The first dry-out shall be continuous and shall not be intermittent. The principle of gradual temperature rise, proper insulation and thorough drying inside and outside shall be observed to prevent cracking and partial burst.


2. Do not use wood to bake! Because the wood baking temperature can not be accurately controlled, it is very easy to cause cracking of the furnace body explosion and other accidents.


3. The temperature shall be measured in time, and the actual drying curve shall be drawn. The temperature measuring point shall be set in the burner mouth or at the temperature measuring hole on the top of the furnace


4. If the furnace temperature is much higher than the specified temperature, it must be immediately insulated, but cooling measures are not allowed. If a large amount of water vapor emits during the baking process, stop heating for insulation until the water vapor decreases or stops emitting.


5. If the furnace drying is forced to stop for some reason, measures shall be taken to ensure the minimum temperature drop of the oven. Gradually reduce the oven drying temperature to room temperature before stopping the oven drying.


6. During the drying process, closely observe the water leakage of each part of the furnace body, whether the heating is uniform and whether the furnace body expands, and adjust the drying time and temperature according to the drying condition of each part of the furnace body.


7. The furnace can be put into production after drying.
