The automatic aluminum billet cutting machine is an integrated sawing line designed for aluminum alloy long bars. The system combines long-bar buffering and alignment, multi-bar loading, roller conveying, head cutting, sizing, discharge, chip collection, hydraulic operation, and PLC-based electrical control.
The equipment is suitable for aluminum alloy bars with a diameter range of Ø 80-Ø254 mm. Its production configuration is intended for continuous preparation of long bars before subsequent processing, with manual and automatic operating modes available.
The loading section includes a 6.5 m long-bar platform and a multi-bar loading mechanism. The loading structure uses Q235B steel components, with the manipulator designed for lifting, lowering, and horizontal transfer of aluminum bars.
The infeed rack is specified at 12,000 × 710 mm inside width × 800 mm, using 20# hot-rolled channel steel in accordance with GB/T 706-2008. A hydraulic motor drives the chain and roller conveying mechanism.
The main machine uses a horizontal circular saw configuration. The saw blade speed is 1400 rpm, with automatic oil-spray lubrication and hydraulic-cylinder-driven saw travel. Forward and reverse travel speeds are adjustable.
The specified alloy saw blade is Φ 900 × Φ50 × 72T, while the main sawing motor is rated at 45 kW.

The five-bar sawing specification is based on Ø 120 × 6000 mm aluminum bars. The sizing system provides a defined 4500-6000 mm cutting range, while the stated length accuracy is ±2 mm.
After sawing, the discharge mechanism transfers the aluminum bars toward the sizing and storage sections. The discharge rack is specified at 7500 × 710 mm inside width × 800 mm, and the storage platform has a listed length of 5000 mm.
Cut heads and tails are collected in a dedicated bin, while aluminum chips are conveyed by a fan into a collection container. This configuration separates finished bars, cut-off sections, and machining chips within the production flow.
The line uses a Mitsubishi PLC and a 7-inch Weinview HMI for process control and digital input. The electrical system includes Schneider contactors and thermal relays, together with sensors and switching components. The control system supports manual and automatic operation, fault alarms, and automatic interlock protection.
