Product Description
Oil Air Lubrication Slip for Aluminum Billet Casting
Product Introduction
The oil‑air slip crystallizer is a core component for modern hot‑top semi‑continuous aluminum billet casting. With independent oil and air channels, it delivers metered lubricant and compressed air through porous graphite rings, forming a stable oil‑air film between molten aluminum and the inner mould wall. This film isolates direct metal‑graphite contact, lowers primary cooling intensity and reduces friction effectively.
Molten aluminum flows into the crystallizer cavity, forms a thin initial solid shell under primary cooling. As the billet descends, circulating cooling water performs secondary intensive cooling for complete solidification. It produces billets with ultra‑smooth surfaces, thin segregation layers and uniform grain structure. It cuts oil consumption, minimizes smoke and adapts to multiple aluminum‑alloy grades and billet diameters. Compatible with automatic casting lines, it stabilizes casting conditions, improves yield and extends service life of graphite accessories.
