Product Description

Aluminum scrap melting furnace with regenerative burner

Product introduction

This 10-ton aluminum melting furnace is designed to produce qualified molten aluminum alloy and feed it to the subsequent casting equipment.

Workers use forklifts or manual methods to load blended aluminum ingots and recycled aluminum scraps into the furnace cavity. Afterwards, the regenerative combustion unit is activated to start the melting process. During operation, floating slag will form on the surface, and alloy materials will settle at the furnace bottom.

Once the molten alloy approaches the target temperature, staff will conduct primary composition adjustment and slag cleaning near the furnace gate, and fine-tune the liquid temperature to match production standards.

After that, secondary precision adjustment, thorough slag removal and alloy refining will be carried out. Meanwhile, the combustion system will keep regulating the temperature of molten aluminum steadily.

The qualified molten aluminum alloy can then be delivered to the casting procedure for production.

The melting capacity of 20T furnace is 4-6 tons per hour. 25T and 45T models have higher efficiency. The equipment can work 24 hours continuously to match the supporting casting line.
